It’s that time of year again…..the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I’ve always loved the sale, and why I agree it’s completely changed as influencers have taken over over the years overly promoting it (that’s a lot of over’s) – I still love it and shop. It may be harder to find items in stock – LOL – butttttt it’s still worth trying to buy a few STAPLE pieces. Keyword = staple. Pieces you’ll wear over and over again – shoes, jackets, etc. If you’ve been eyeing splurging on a Michele watch – now would be the time to splurge on one of those too when its on sale!

I usually treat myself to a new pair of shoes each sale, and determine what I need ahead of time before looking. I wrote down I needed calf high boots – I don’t have any, in any color! I have tons of booties – so that’s not something I’m shopping this year just because they are cute. As much as I would love to add it all to cart, I don’t need it all.

Shoes are the first section I check, then browse a few others. It looks like the On Cloud running shoes are on sale and I’ve been wanting a pair….so I might add those to cart too! I’m 100% getting the Sam Edelman knee high boots in tan suede and debating either the On Cloud shoes or the Adidas Ultra Boosts. Shoes are something that will last for years – and if you don’t have that style of color in your closet yet now is the perfect time to buy to actually wear in the fall instead of waiting for Christmas for the next round of sales.

Wool hats are usually affordable from Nordstrom during the sale but usually sell out quickly before the “public” access. Definitely add to your wish list and get alerts if they come back in stock! I have my eyes on this maroon one.
