Seriously, if any of you are thinking about a Euro summer vacation any time soon – THESE are the most comfortable sandals that you NEED to walk miles in all day! They are a bit of an investment, but I promise you they last for years and unlike any other shoe! Birkenstocks now make a cheaper “plastic version” for under $50 and are more waterproof than the traditional! They come in all the colors of the rainbow, so if budget is a concern you can start with these! I found them in a light pink blush here and all other colors here.
I found the biggest selection of Birkenstocks here. My favorite 2 styles are the Mayari or the traditional Arizona. I have both and love them! For something a little less “oats and granola” and something more “fun” I highly recommend the metallic colors!! The exact color I have is Metallic Gemm Red – which discontinued and sold out EVERYWHERE. I can’t even find it on eBay and I bought them in 2018. So if there is a metallic color you like that isn’t traditional like white or brown, I’d jump on it because it probably won’t last. The silver and copper metallics I have seen year after year though.
