Why you need Dry Conditioner just as much as Dry Shampoo
Back in college, dry shampoo really started to make its way into the hearts & lives of every woman’s bathroom cabinet. Extending blowouts, avoiding the long process to wash, blow dry & style, dry shampoo was a quick fix to add volume, and make your hair appear clean for just one more day.
We all know we love dry shampoo, so you’re probably asking, why should I add in yet another product to my morning routine? With dry shampoo, we know it’s essential to spray the roots, and it’s really only meant for the area of the hair closest to the scalp. Dry shampoo helps make your roots appear less oily, and adds major volume, but what about the other 80% of your hair?
That’s when dry conditioner comes in. I was browsing the aisles of Ulta and obviously testing products along the way. I see DryBar products on the end aisle, my favorite blowout salon with high quality, delicious smelling, and creatively named products. The dry conditioner grabs my attention, as I’ve heard of it but hadn’t tried it yet. After briefly reading through the bottle, I start spraying my hair. And O.M.G.
Immediately upon spraying, my hair felt softer, appeared shinier, and completely tamed the frizzy mane. I could not believe I hadn’t tried this before! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to like it, and maybe that’s because I didn’t want to add yet another hair product to my collection.
Seriously though, if you regularly apply heat to your hair, your ends can start to look damaged and frizzy no matter how much heat protection you use.
In one spray, this completely masked my damaged ends, and refreshed my hair. My hair almost felt as soft as the “just washed” feeling, looked so shiny, and smelled ah-mazing.
I researched more about the product, and pleased to find out its sulfate-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free while using natural ingredients. Argan oil and mango butter enriches the hair shaft restoring softness. The Tahitian floral smell comes from the tiare flower, which hydrates the hair, banishes frizz and tames flyways.
My experience trying Dry Conditioner for the first time not only made me a believer – but it came with free gifts!
