Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Top Picks

I know everyone and their mother is covering the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but it’s really one of my favorite sales of the year since it’s preseason items on sale! Unfortunately, I can’t bring home 50 bags of new clothes, and I doubt you can too. I know everything you see will tempt you, but I suggest making a quick list of things you think your closet “needs” before impulse shopping. I would prioritize purchasing the following style items first, then add some of the clothes later if you still have budget.

Staple pieces to add to your wardrobe you’ll wear the most:

  • Black suede Over the Knee Boots
  • Felt Hat
  • Long Open Cardigan
  • Booties – Suede tan, open toe, black leather, LEOPARD, snakeskin (whatever you don’t already have)
  • Moto or Leather Jacket
  • Suede Jacket
  • Leather or Suede Skirt
  • Nike or Adidas Running shoes
  • Tory Burch handbag / shoes
  • Good American or AG Farrah Jeans (I haven’t found these brands on sale as frequently)

Chunky sweaters, jeans, basic long-sleeves, and more can most likely be found on sale at other retailers closer to fall. Shoes are the one thing that don’t really go on sale, especially higher quality brands, early in the season. This is why I usually end up buying mostly shoes during the Nordstrom Sale every year!

All the shopping collages below are shoppable! Just click on the item and it will take you directly to the Nordstrom Page!

Here’s a first round of everything I’ve been loving online so far, with updates to come soon! Most of the items like cardigans and shoes come in multiple colors, so it’s worth clicking on if you like the style but may want a different color!
